| Major Achievements |
- Land remaining fallow after rice intensified with the vegetables
- Most of the households in the project intervened areas consume 2 to 3 times more vegetable than few years back
- Development of resource persons and resource centers. 35 local resource persons; livestock (16) and vegetable cultivation (19) have been trained and mobilized in various project interventions. All together 16 resource centers such as 2 agro-vets, 9 multipurpose nurseries, 1 collection center, and 4 Haat bazaar have been established.
- Many producer groups have been formed and now functioning well on their livelihoods improvement aspects.
- Number of formed groups: 346 and number of supported HHs: 9590

| Lessons Learnt
|
- Coordination, linkage with stakeholders (including GOs) in project implementation gives synergetic efforts for programs implementation and group's encouragement and recognition.
- The riverbank is one of the best alternative sources for income generation to the flood victims, IDPs, and small farmers
- Agro-fair is a good way to disseminate the improved technologies and improved varieties.

| Recommendations
|
- Electric motor or diesel pump should be supported to the resource poor farmers for the commercialization of vegetable farming.
- Existing CBOs and cooperatives should be strengthened to implement livelihoods projects.
