Agromorphological characterization of crop varieties is essential for providing the farmers with decision supports in the choice of varieties for their biophysical adaptation, market demands and pest resistance. This study attempted to evaluate different onion varieties and/or their seed lots of various sources in Nepalese agricultural market in terms of quality and quantity of production under farmers' field condition. Observation trial was conducted in the farmers' field condition at Beni of Myagdi district. Altogether twenty-nine tomato varieties and/or the seed lots of various descents provided by the SEAN Seed Service Center Limited were evaluated. All tested varieties displayed spectrum of variability in various morpho-horticultural traits including days to flowering and fruit set, number of pickings required, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, fruit yield and tolerance to insect pests and diseases.
